About Penelope Colins

I fell in love with programming because it let me turn ideas into working tools. After earning my degree in Computer Science and spending a few years as a frontend engineer, I realized what excites me most is the bridge between front and back- making systems talk to each other smoothly.

I’ve been building web applications and automation solutions since 2016. My projects range from React dashboards to FastAPI microservices and CI/CD pipelines. I care deeply about maintainable code and documented processes.

Values: clarity, reliability, collaboration.
I believe great software is a conversation- between users, developers, and business goals.

I maintain small libraries on GitHub and contribute to FastAPI issues when time allows. I’m active in the Atlanta Python group and mentor junior devs learning TypeScript.

Outside Work

When I’m not coding, you’ll find me sketching UI ideas in a notebook or cycling the Atlanta BeltLine. Code is creative work- and I treat it that way.
